OUR MISSION: The San Antonio Road Runners promote health and fitness in San Antonio by sponsoring several races throughout the year. With over 1000+ members, we are still growing and we're excited to help you get in shape along with us!
Since 1973 SARR has served the running, jogging, and walking community of South Texas. We extend an invitation for you to join. As a club member you receive many benefits. Now is a great time to join our club and make it your club.
SARR RACES: Save on many SARR sponsored race entry fees. Also enjoy our Members Appreciation Race and Annual Picnic / Fun Run
TRAINING PROGRAMS: Our nationally award-winning programs have helped hundreds of local runners learn to run better, meet new friends, and explore the many different trails and courses the city has to offer. Our group training programs help runners of all abilities, from beginners to advanced – we offer a place for every pace.
SARR FUN RUNS: On the first Saturday of every month at 8:30 am in McAllister Park at the Al Becken Pavilion, SARR holds a Kids Run (approx. 100 yards) and ½ mile, 1 mile, and 3 mile fun runs. Bring your family and run for fun or run for speed work.
SARR MEETUPS: Want to find other runners to run with? SARR has a meet-up page that lists weekly runs. Come run with us and meet other San Antonio runners.
SAVINGS: Discounts at many local running stores (ask at store counter).
SARR MEETINGS: You are invited to our meetings the second Tuesday of the month to discuss SARR projects, races, and the future of your running club. Your voice counts. All members are invited to attend and you'll never meet a friendlier group of runners. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm at Academy Sports & Outdoors, located at 4071 North Loop 1604 West, near the intersection of Loop 1604 and NW Military Highway. (map)
