Fall Training Registration Now Closed - Special 1 day late registration!

We have filled our 400 spots for the fall full/half/10K/Walk To Run training.  We will have a ONE day, online, late registration on AUGUST 3RD FROM 9AM - 9PM.  That will be the absolute last chance to register.  No in-person registration will be available this year.

Our Mission The San Antonio RoadRunners (SARR) promote health and fitness in San Antonio by putting on races, training opportunities and fun runs and walks throughout the year. With over 1,000 members, we are still growing and we're excited to help you get in shape along with us!

Running and Walking - Rules of the Road  Walkers and runners must always practice safety first when training near traffic! The first four of these are Texas laws.            
  1. Please always walk/run facing oncoming traffic.
  2. Always stay on the sidewalk when one is available.
  3. If there is no sidewalk, always stay near the left side of the road in single file.
  4. Do not cross intersections opposing street lights.
  5. Always watch for traffic in all directions - vehicles are bigger and danger is ever present.
  6. Light colored clothing is always recommended.
  7. On cloudy days or at night, wear/use reflective gear - front and back.
  8. It is recommended you run/walk with a training partner or a group.
  9. If you use an MP3 player, remember you need to be able to hear traffic, angry animals, etc.
  10. First and foremost - Safety First! It could save your life.

Got an event? If you have a running/walking event, just send us an email(website@saroadrunners.com) to get it on our event calendar at our discretion.  This is a free service.  Include the following information in your request:
1.    Race name – best to include distances like 5K/10K
2.    (optional) Event web page URL
3.    Start date (MM/DD/YYYY format)
4.    Start time
5.    (optional) On-line registration URL
6.    Can people register at the event on the day of the race?(Yes/No)
7.    Race Location - If you include an address that works in Google Maps, we can add a map link.
8.    (optional) Description or other free form info to cut and paste from an email into the race announcement.  Formatting will be preserved where possible.  Info on awards, pet policy, or strollers can be added here.
